This post is a proud plug for work I've done this past month~
This year I've been thrown into the fires of creative inspiration. I'm frantically trying to keep up with my ideas and my hands desperately cling to them all and bring them onto paper and into my Docs.
The real kicker is that it's all because of the show Hannibal
Hannibal has given me what my teenage self would have fixated on. I'd seen specific episodes in middle school so I only remembered the artistry of it and the horrific crime scenes. If I had the means to continue watching the show at home I would have been on AO3 for a decade now.
I did not know how queer it was and I'm screaming about it now.
Screaming in a way where I need to alert the others of its existence.
It is a work of art.
The film class I took in college made me greedily take in every detail, every posh quip, and every beautiful composition.
Don't get me started on the backgrounds and metaphors.
Yes, it's a toxic dynamic, but that show is nothing short of a love story. I need more of it.
For the first time in over a year, I made a graphite portrait dedicated to my love for the show. I also got in the queue for AO3 to publish a fanfic I'm very proud of.
So many people will not have gotten this far for fear of my sanity, so thanks for being here!
Fellow Fannibals, I hope you enjoy this. I've brought you a feast:
